The color will never wear of fade for a lifetime of everyday enjoyment and use. The Heart Dish is both microwave and dishwasher friendly. Feel free to put your Heart Dish into the dishwasher but be mindful of harsh detergents and hard water so it doesn't haze. Like all untempered glass, this plate should not be placed in an oven.
